The Arizona State University Commission on the Status of Women is pleased to host the 17th annual ASU Professional Development Conference. The 2024 will be hosted on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Thursday, Oct. 24. Both days will be hosted via ZOOM, increasing accessibility to all ASU faculty, staff and students. With nearly 100 workshop sessions and events, and thousands of attendees, the ASU Professional Development Conference is the largest university-provided development conference in the nation!

The 2024 conference schedule features a wide variety of sessions under the U.S. Surgeon General’s five essentials for Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing, including:

  • Protection from Harm: Safety and Security.
  • Community and Connection: Social Support and Belonging.
  • Mattering at Work: Dignity and Impact
  • Opportunity for Growth: Learning and Accomplishments
  • Work-Life Harmony: Autonomy and Flexibility

Additionally, the conference schedule will also feature a variety of session that support ASU’s Charter.

Format

The 2024 conference will be offered entirely online via Zoom on October 23 and 24, with many workshop topics provided on both days.

Conference attendees can attend workshops on both conference days, as their schedule permits. Workshop sessions will not be recorded and must be attended live during the session host time.

The conference is free and open to all ASU faculty, staff and students.
