The Arizona State University Commission on the Status of Women is pleased to host the 16th annual ASU Professional Development Conference. The 2023 will be hosted on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Thursday, Oct. 12. With over 80 workshop sessions and events, and thousands of attendees, the ASU Professional Development Conference is the largest university-provided development conference in the nation!

The 2023 conference schedule features a wide variety of sessions under the U.S. Surgeon General’s five essentials for Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing, including:

  • Protection from Harm: Safety and Security.
  • Community and Connection: Social Support and Belonging.
  • Mattering at Work: Dignity and Impact
  • Opportunity for Growth: Learning and Accomplishments
  • Work-Life Harmony: Autonomy and Flexibility

Format

This year's conference will be offered online via Zoom and in-person. Many workshop topics will be provided on both days. Conference attendees can attend workshops on both conference days, as their schedule permits

October 11

All workshops will be provided live via Zoom. Sessions will not be recorded and must be attended live.

October 12

All conference sessions will be provided in-person at ASU's Tempe campus in the Memorial Union. The in-person conference includes a keynote luncheon. Note: The in-person capacity is limited and there will be wait lists, therefore please only sign up to attend in-person if you are planning to attend.
